Here’s the number one thing you need to know about me: I tell stories.
Growing up I dreamed of writing for Glamour magazine in New York City. Super cute right? Thank you 13 Going on 30 and How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days for helping me imagine my life as a magazine writer in NY! I had my life planned out (read, I was an obsessive planner even at 8 years old).
*Record scratches* Yeah, that’s not what happened.
After getting my degree in Journalism and interning at several magazines and freelance writing for newspapers, I realized that life was not for me. I started an Etsy store selling upcycled and thrifted clothes, got my first camera to photograph my friends in the clothes and opened a brick and mortar store. I soon realized that photography clicked in my brain the way that writing had. It was another way to tell stories. I fell in love with photographing couples and knew then and there THIS was my future.
I also recently rekindled my love for writing but this time on my terms aka as an entrepreneur! Now I create content for other female creatives and do branding sessions that level their business up. YES to female empowerment!
I am basically an energizer bunny.
